Shake the tanning mousse bottle before use. Apply 2-3 pumps of mousse on your tanning mitt, apply directly to clean, dry, and exfoliated skin in circular motions. Focus on one limb at a time for the most even application, adding fresh pumps for each area as needed. Wash hands after applying. Avoid water exposure while your tan develops. Shower after 8 hours or once desired color has been reached.

Color can last up to a week if you are keeping your skin well moisturized. You can also use Summer Skin – Gradual Self-Tanning Body Cream to prolong your color and keep it looking fresh. Avoiding pool and ocean water will help keep your tan from fading.

Development time will vary; however, color will begin developing within 2 hours, and will continue to develop for the next 8 hours.

We recommend applying one even layer for the most natural results. If you’re seeking a deeper color, add additional coats to increase your tan.

Exfoliating skin prior to tanning is always a good idea. We recommend the Exfoliating Body Polish to remove all dead skin and prep your skin for an even coat of self-tanner. Applying a thin layer of The Conditioning Body Cream to areas like feet, hands, elbows, & knees will also help blend your color.

Ideally wait 8 hours after showering. We recommend applying at night, sleeping in loose clothing, then showering in the morning.

The tanning mousse is formulated to give a deeper, more immediate tan than our self-tanning creams. If you are looking for instant color, we recommend the tanning mousse. If you’re looking to slowly build your color, we suggest using our gradual self-tanning body cream.
