Q: Tell us a bit about yourself (Name, age, profession)
A: I’m Molly Beth Kidd, 35, and the proud owner of Molly Kidd Studio. For the past nine years, I’ve been working as a principal designer and creative director, with a deep love for curating vintage pieces. I’m also a mama of three, living in a charming country house in Oregon with my husband. My journey’s been a multifaceted one—I’ve been in blogging, floristry, and, fun fact, even spent some time as a camp counselor. But above all, my biggest inspiration comes from the beauty of my surroundings—the lush, ever-changing landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. It’s all about creating from what you love, and I feel so lucky to be able to do just that.
Q: How do you maintain your tan while working and designing full time?
A: Lux keeps me bronzed all year long. It rains a lot during the cold months here in Oregon and I always feel not quite “myself” when I am not sunkissed. I also designate a “self-care” morning once a week to reset and give my newly renovated bathroom the adoration it deserves.
Q: Which season is your favorite to decorate for & why?
A: Fall! I thrive in the autumnal months and love this season. It is warm, cozy, layered and a transitional time I constantly look forward to. The colors, foliage, and provisions are always so inspiring.

Q: What is some advice you have for someone wanting to get into the interior space?
A: BE YOURSELF. Go with your gut, never copy, and always be kind.
Q: What’s your favorite way to spark creativity?
A: I designate time every day to be in nature. It grounds me and is always the perfect muse. Travel is constantly sparking new ideas, I love to pay attention to the details: architecture, materiality, and geography.
