A Postcard from Newport Beach with Brooke Lawrence
Brooke Lawrence (@brookellawrence) is a mother of two and storyteller known for sharing her family’s journey toward simple, intentional living. With a soft, timeless aesthetic and reverence for life’s quieter moments, Brooke captures beauty in the everyday; from wildflower fields to well-worn linens. On her recent trip to California, she embraced a slower rhythm along the coast, exploring hidden beaches, local markets, and historic towns with her husband and two kids.
In this Q&A, Brooke talks about her favorite moments from the trip; from the beaches she loved most and the song that defined their summer to her go-to Lux Unfiltered staples and tips for traveling with little ones in tow.

Tips for traveling with a toddler + baby
Learn to go with the flow and laugh at the little things that go wrong (not bringing a change of clothes for baby and I and having to travel with baby poop on my shirt for a whole day) — naps are gonna be off schedule, being on planes with squirmy little ones can be trying, but I found I enjoy traveling more when I hold things loosely and enjoy the journey and time with my family
Where to next?
New York this fall!
